Electric Field Vector Mapping (EFVM): Detecting the source of a leak in the roof membrane of a green roof is difficult and expensive because of the water migration between the membrane, insulation and roof decking joints. Finding the leak could involve removing a majority of the greenroof. EFVM detects leaks to pin-point accuracy by utilizing a low-voltage electrical current between the non-conductive membrane surface and a conductive electrified mesh installed below the roof membrane. Breaches in the waterproof membrane will trigger electrical conduction, which shows our technicians the location of the leak. EFVM is the most reliable leak detection product in the industry to protect the building from potentially costly water damage and repair.
